What to Expect
As the longest running womens outdoor fitness Boot Camp program in Seattle, we continue to create effective class systems that allow us to focus on YOU, so expect to be challenged! Whether you are just off the couch or are already experiencing intensive workouts, Seattle Weight Loss Boot Camp's energetic and supportive community oriented programs are designed to deliver results no matter what your level of fitness. Through fast paced, interval style training, each participant is motivated by the outdoor environment to excel beyond her current level of fitness. It is this results proven training technique that both brings women together AND allows each woman to challenge herself from her own level of fitness.

By joining us for an invigorating 4 week program you will increase your daily energy, drop pounds, lose inches, build long lean muscles, decrease tummy bulge, whittle your hips, perk up your bottom, gain noticeable strength, endurance and overall stamina all while adding flexibility and grace to your everyday movement. You will see a firmer, shaplier, much livelier you in just 4 weeks! The Workout You'll Love
"Wow, that went by FAST!". This is the greatest compliment we can get from our participants after a booty kicking workout, and we hear it a lot! For us, the outdoor fitness phenomenon is not a passing fad, but a passionate lifestyle for daily health, and our unique, addictive class style is proof of our passion.  

Each morning at Camp, after a comprehensive warm-up to open the spine, engage the core and support the low back (injury prevention at it's best!), we'll ramp up the play for a calorie dashing 55 minutes that alternates our signature short distance run/walk Agility Sprints, good mood inducing Double Power strength circuits and quadriceps lovin' Speedster Sets with super fun, non-competitive partner relay's. To keep it all fresh and exciting, we pull out active props, tricks and challenges along the way, ensuring your workout switches gears every 4 minutes. Add to this a bountiful supply of metabolism rocketing abdominal intervals to shrink and strengthen the core, and it's no wonder our daily workout's burn off 550-1000 calories in one go! Your trainer will keep you motivated, focused on your goals AND in a state of empowered learning. All you have to do is show up to the play! The Science Behind The Fun
We know the best workout results come from using an ongoing variety of fitness challenges applied workout after workout; that's Cross Training! When brief periods of intensity are combined with short periods of recovery, a process scientifically proved to break through fitness plateau's to provide greater results in less time; that's Interval Training! At SWLB, we take these 2 powerful training modalities and combine them with our own test group developed strength and resistance technique's that generate powerful physiologic responses of decreased body fat and dramatically increased strength and tone.  


Nationally Recognized Results  
It has been exciting to watch our members get results month after month, season after season, and it continues to be our pleasure to bring members the best of our education and ingenuity. Just as exciting has been the national press given to our small, local program. We knew we were onto something huge in the fitness community when the editors of nationally renowned Women's Health Magazine asked us to create an outdoor workout for their June 2008 issue. More recently, we were named one of the Top Bootcamp Programs in the nation by Fitness Magazine. As a small community program born of passion and enthusiasm for the Northwest lifestyle, both the creators and longtime members of Seattle Weight Loss Bootcamp appreciate this recognition of our commitment to the play! Why Outdoors?
Believe it or not, our bodies are at their fat burning best when enduring the out of doors. Irregular terrain, temperature and weather all do their part to keep the body on its toes and the mind guessing. These irregularities force the senses to come alive and the body to stay focused on the present moment, allowing the mind/body connection to come to the forefront of your workout for a more powerful experience than the typical gym program.

About Your Trainer/Director
Kimae Dolan is a CHEK Certified Holistic Fitness Coach  and Certified Group Trainer currently enrolled in continuing education programs with the CHEK Institute, Nesta and Ace.   

"As a kid growing up in Seattle, my parents made sure outdoor events were a huge part of my experience. Ski trips, swimming and weekend camping were staples of my family dynamic, and those interests grew into surfing and trail running as an adult. With the life changes of my 30's I began to gain weight, a LOT of weight, and soon found myself topping out at over 200 pounds. With this rapid weight gain, my life as I knew it disappeared. No more bikini clad surf trips to Mexico, or trail running along the coast. Even backyard badminton was too much for my knees and joints to bear. All physical play screeched to a halt, while my love of life and self esteem plummeted. For me, as for many women, this was a process I had to experience in order to come to terms with my own beliefs about my body. And I learned to be thankful for that. When the time came to lose the weight it was terrifically hard to make such radical changes on my own, and during the process I would often fantasize about a community fitness program for overweight women that offered support without underestimating their abilities. I wanted real, intensive fitness, not just the basics. As I progressed on my journey, and became passionate about holistic fitness principles and fitness nutrition, I decided to create the fantasy fitness program I felt was missing in our community, and SWL Bootycamp was born. In the past three years my program has grown to accommodate the fitness aspirations of Seattle's most athletic women alongside the needs of those women new to daily fitness. It is in this merging of abilities that participants find true inspiration inside the group fitness dynamic. We hope to see you here."
